Country crossover star Darius Rucker will welcome 2014 with a headlining run supporting his latest solo country collection, "True Believers."

The former Hootie & the Blowfish frontman have a trio of late fall dates to finish up this week before taking a break for the remainder of the holiday season. The South Carolina native will then kick off his "True Believers" tour with a Jan. 29 show in Champaign, IL. The current itinerary includes 14 U.S. stops through a March 9 concert in Loveland, CO.

Eli Young Band and David Nail will provide opening support for the majority of the tour.

Rucker released "True Believers," his fourth solo effort and the third country album, in May via Capitol Records Nashville. The 12-track collection peaked at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Top Country Albums chart.
