STS9 sets out on coast-to-coast stateside trek

Instrumental electro-rockers STS9 have plans to hit clubs and theaters across North America early next year.

The Santa Cruz-based outfit will first tackle five nights in Cancun, Mexico, (12/16-12/20) before returning stateside for a five-night stand Dec. 27-31 in Atlanta to ring in the New Year.

The official headlining trek begins Jan. 23 in San Diego and continues through another 20 markets. The cross-country outing wraps up Feb. 22 in Knoxville, TN.

Tickets for most stops on the tour go on sale Saturday (11/9).

STS9 most recently released "When The Dust Settles," an EP that surfaced in 2011 and debuted at the top of iTunes Electronic chart. The band is set to unveil its 12th studio effort, which is still unnamed, in 2014, according to a press release.
