Kanye West's "Yeezus" tour to return from unexpected hiatus
Nearly a week after postponing a trio of West Coast shows, Kanye West is ready to resume the North American leg of the "Yeezus" tour in the coming days.
The hop-hop performer's run, which kicked off last month, will begin again Nov. 16 in Philadelphia and continue as originally planned. Three cities affected by the sidetracked outing -- Chicago; Auburn Hills, MI; and Toronto -- have been rescheduled for late December, while shows in Vancouver (11/1); Denver (11/3); Minneapolis, MN (11/5); and Columbus, OH (11/5); have been canceled due to routing logistics.
The "Yeezus" trek hit an unexpected snag early last week week when a truck carrying a large LED screen used in the production was damaged during a traffic accident.
West is working the road behind his recently released sixth album, "Yeezus," which surfaced in June. The Roc-A-Fella Records set topped The Billboard 200, as well as its Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
