Jason Aldean adds more markets to "Night Train" run
Country superstar Jason Aldean has filled out his "Night Train" tour, which wrapped one leg earlier this week (10/26) and will continue again in 2014.
Since last check, the multi-platinum-selling Georgia native has added another four stops to the New Year outing, which begins with two nights (1/18-1/19) in Moline, IL. The new shows are slated for Charlottesville, VA (1/24); Columbia, SC (1/25); and two nights in Bloomington, IL (2/21-2/22).
Aldean has also confirmed an appearance at the Bayou Country Superfest May 25 in Baton Rouge, LA.
Aldean continues touring behind his fifth studio effort, "Night Train," which surfaced last October via the independent label Broken Bow Records. The 15-track collection, which includes a collaboration with Luke Bryan and Eric Church entitled "The Only Way I Know," debuted at the top of The Billboard 200, as well as the magazine's Top Country Albums and Independent Albums charts.
Earlier this week (10/31), Aldean earned six nominations for the fourth annual American Country Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, Touring Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for "Night Train," among others. The ACM Awards will take place Dec. 10 in Las Vegas. Other nominees are listed here.
