Taylor Swift leads fourth annual American Country Music Awards

Taylor Swift is in the running for eight American Country Music Awards this year, while Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton are close behind with seven nods each.

Taylor Swift is in the running for eight American Country Music Awards this year, while Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton are close behind with seven nods each.

The fourth annual country music ceremony will take place Dec. 10 at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay. Multi-platinum country star Trace Adkins and Nascar superstar Danica Patrick will host the two-hour event, which will be broadcast live on Fox networks nationwide.

Swift, Shelton and Florida Georgia Line are all vying for Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year, while Swift has also been nominated for Female Artist of the Year, Female Single of the Year for "Begin Again" and Touring Artist of the Year, among others.

Fans can vote once each day for all categories except Artist of the Year at the event's website now through Nov. 12. Artist of the Year voting will remain open until Dec. 7.
