Trace Adkins, Jackson Browne, Natalie Cole, more to celebrate Gregg Allman

Musicians from several genres, including Trace Adkins, Jackson Browne and Natalie Cole, will pay tribute to iconic singer/songwriter Gregg Allman in Atlanta early next year.

Musicians from several genres, including Trace Adkins, Jackson Browne and Natalie Cole, will pay tribute to iconic singer/songwriter Gregg Allman in Atlanta early next year.

Allman's own The Allman Brothers Band will also perform at "All My Friends: Celebrating the Songs & Voice of Gregg Allman," which will take place Jan. 10 at Atlanta's Fox Theatre. Others on the bill include Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, John Hiatt, Jaimoe, Taj Mahal, Keb' Mo', Martina McBride, Pat Monahan, Sam Moore, Robert Randolph, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks and Widespread Panic.

An all-star band will be led by Don Was and Warren Haynes, the event's co-musical directors. Collaborations, surprise guests and additional performers can be expected at the concert, which will be filmed and recorded for future distribution.

"Gregg Allman and his songs have been a deep and unmistakable influence on artists across southern rock, blues, soul, gospel, and country music," Don Was said in a press release.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Nov. 1 via the venue's website.
