Minor Alps prep for debut album with quick fall run
Minor Alps, the new collaborative project of Juliana Hatfield and Nada Surf's Matthew Caws, will hit a handful of major market clubs and theaters next month in support of the upcoming album "Get There."
The pair will kick off the two-week trek with a Nov. 8 show in Seattle celebrating the 15th anniversary of Barsuk Records. The 11-city run wraps up on East Coast with a Nov. 23 gig in Boston.
"Get There," the first collection from the duo, will hit retailers Oct. 29 via Barsuk Records. The two musicians share lead vocals, as well as co-writing credits for the 11-track set, which also features musicians Parker Kindred and Chris Egan playing multiple instruments.
The video for the effort's lead single "I Don't Know What to Do With My Hands" is currently streaming at the label's YouTube page.
