Los Campesinos! plot quick U.S. jaunt behind "No Blues"
Welsh indie-rockers Los Campesinos! will support a brand-new studio set with a handful of major-market U.S. stops early next year.
The six-piece band will first complete four U.K. dates in early December and break for the holidays before kicking off the stateside itinerary Jan. 21 in Boston. The four-date stretch will also hit New York City (1/22); Washington, D.C. (1/23); and Chicago (1/25).
Los Campesinos! will unveil its fifth studio album, "No Blues," Oct. 29. The Wichita Recordings release was produced by John Goodmanson (Death Cab for Cutie, Sleater-Kinney) and the band's guitarist Tom Campesinos! The 10-track set follows their 2011 effort, "Hello Sadness."
A free download of the album's first single, "What Death Leaves Behind," is currently available at the band's website.
