Gregg Allman adds a few more solo dates to end-of-year itinerary
Gregg Allman, who spent the summer touring with The Allman Brothers Band, has extended his current solo run across the U.S. into 2014.
The iconic Southern rocker takes to the stage tonight (10/11) in Montgomery, AL, and hits the tour trail hard through month's end. Fourteen theater performances push through a Nov. 2 show in Keene, NH, including two nights (10/15-16) in Milwaukee, WI.
Allman also has a handful of shows scheduled around the end of the year, beginning Dec. 27 in Macon, GA, hitting six Southern markets and concluding Jan. 14 back in Macon.
Gregg Allman most recently unveiled "Low Country Blues," which surfaced in January 2011. The T-Bone Burnett-produced Rounder Records release peaked at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Top Blues Albums chart.
