Brad Paisley, Martina McBride and Loretta Lynn are a just a few of the new additions to the all-star roster for the George Jones tribute next month, aptly dubbed "Playin' Possum! The Final No Show."
Big & Rich, Lee Ann Womack, Craig Morgan, Thompson Square, Ronnie Milsap, Bill Anderson and Metallica have also been confirmed for the Nov. 22 tribute at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
The sold-out concert, originally slated to be the late singer's final tour performance, will also feature previously-announced acts Eric Church, Reba McEntire, Alabama, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Josh Turner, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry and Sam Moore.
"The evening of George Jones songs is going to be the best musical tribute Nashville has ever seen," Jones' wife Nancy said in a press release. "We have many surprises planned, and I just wish George could be here to see what we are doing for him."
