Gov't Mule plots course supporting "Shout!"
Southern-rock jam band Gov't Mule has mapped a fall round of shows to support their recently released 10th studio set, "Shout!"
The four-piece outfit, helmed by singer/guitarist Warren Haynes, begins a nearly three-week run with an Oct. 25 performance in Seattle. The 14-city outing works its way along the West Coast before heading southeast and wrapping up Nov. 10 in Dallas.
Two consecutive nights in late December (12/27-28) round out the current itinerary.
Gov't Mule unveiled "Shout!," the band's 10th full-length set, Sept. 24 via Blue Note Records. The collection, which follows 2010's "Mulennium," debuted at No. 32 on The Billboard 200. Several special guests made appearances on the album, including Ben Harper, Elvis Costello, Dr. John, Jim James, Grace Potter, Toots Hibbert, Dave Matthews and Steve Winwood, among others.
