Luscious Jackson plot two reunion shows behind "Magic Hour" release
Alt-rock trio Luscious Jackson will follow up a long-awaited new album with two East Coast reunion shows before year's end.
Jill Cunniff, Gabrielle Glaser and Kate Schellenbach will perform their first live shows in more than a decade -- a Nov. 23 performance in Philadelphia and a Dec. 7 concert in New York City. Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
More live dates may be revealed in the coming weeks, according to a press release.
Luscious Jackson is planning to reveal "Magic Hour," the group's first album in 14 years, Nov. 5. Cunniff and Glaser co-produced the effort, with the help of Beastie Boy Adam Horovitz on the single "So Rock On."
On Tuesday (9/24), the band released a video for the new single "Show Us What You Got" via their YouTube channel. Josephine Wiggs, bassist for the Breeders, directed the video.
