Rick Ross to take "Mastermind" to major U.S. markets
Hip-hop star Rick Ross has unleashed a fall run of the U.S. in support of his forthcoming album, "Mastermind."
The rapper and Maybach Music Group founder has two London performances slated for early October, more than a month before the Nov. 12 stateside kick-off in Detroit. The quick, eight-city North American jaunt concludes with a Nov. 23 performance in Miami.
For the U.S. dates, Ross will be backed by a live band.
"It's never been done like this," Ross said in a press release. "We'll be performing everything from 'Tears of Joy' to 'Aston Martin Music,' all with a live band. It's time to remind everyone what Maybach Music is all about."
Ross is planning to unveil "Mastermind," his sixth album, before year's end, according to published reports. The first single, "No Games," which was produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, surfaced earlier this month.
