Kanye West takes on "Yeezus" run this fall
Kanye West will take to the road next month in support of his recently released "Yeezus," tackling his first solo tour in five years.
The Grammy-winning performer and new father will begin the 23-city North American leg with an Oct. 19 performance in Seattle. The seven-week trek works its way eastward, concluding Dec. 7 in Houston.
Kendrick Lamar will handle opening duties on the outing, tickets for which go on sale Friday (9/13).
West's sixth studio effort "Yeezus" surfaced in June via Roc-a-Fella Records and Def Jam Recordings. The collection, which features guests Assassin, King L, Frank Ocean and Kid Cudi, among others, debuted at the top of The Billboard 200. It also landed at the top of album charts in 30 other countries, including the U.K. and Australia.
