Aimee Mann, Ted Leo's The Both add fall theater shows
The two musicians, who are working together under the band name #Both, will begin the collaborative trek with a Sept. 27 performance in Austin, TX. The 16-city outing currently focuses on the eastern half of the U.S., wrapping up with a two-night stand Oct. 20-21 in Minneapolis, MN. Mann will then head to Europe for a half-dozen solo dates.
Mann and Leo will perform work they've written together, as well as music from their individual discographies, according to Mann's website.
Mann unveiled "Charmer," her long-awaited eighth studio effort, last September on Superego Records. The 11-track album debuted at No. 33 on The Billboard 200 and earned the performer a Grammy nomination for Best Recording Package.
Leo most recently released "The Brutalist Bricks," his latest effort as Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, in March 2010. That 13-track Matador Records release landed at No. 11 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart.
