Taking Back Sunday plot fall club trek
Following a handful of sporadic September shows, Taking Back Sunday will take on fall tour of the U.S. behind their digital-only summertime release, "TAYF10 Acoustic."
The alt-rockers will first complete four September gigs, including two consecutive shows in Sayreville, CT, during which the band will perform the electric "Tell All Your Friends" album in its entirety.
The fall outing kicks off Oct. 11 in Clifton Park, NY, and visits clubs and theaters in 22 major markets before concluding Nov. 7 in Long Island, NY.
Polar Bear Club and Transit will handle opening duties, according to a press release.
Taking Back Sunday unveiled "TAYF10 Acoustic" in June. The digital collection includes live video and audio from rare acoustic performances of their platinum-selling debut, "Tell All Your Friends."
The band is working on their sixth studio effort, according to a recent interview with Alternative Press. No word yet on when this effort will hit retailers.
