Brian Wilson, Jeff Beck join forces on fall trek across U.S.
The two Grammy winners will begin the journey with a Sept. 27 performance in Hollywood, FL, followed by theater shows in 17 major markets across the nation. The excursion, which will also feature Wilson's former Beach Boys bandmates Al Jardine and David Marks, wraps up Oct. 27 in Akron, OH.
Tickets go on sale beginning Aug. 9 in most markets.
Wilson invited Beck into the studio as a guest on his impending Capitol Records release, which is being produced by Don Was and also includes Jardine and Marks.
"Jeff is one of the most amazing guitarists I've ever worked with and his vibe is inspiring," Wilson said in a press release. "I feel having Jeff Beck co-headline with me is a cool and exciting addition. We've got some new tunes we want to try out on a live crowd, as well as doing some great music from our catalogues."
No word yet on when Wilson's new studio set will hit retailers.
