Widespread Panic fills out end-of-year touring schedule
Following the completion of their summer run, Widespread Panic have added more dates to their fall and winter itinerary, including a New Year's Eve performance in Atlanta.
The jam-rockers return to the stage for two consecutive appearances Sept. 7-8 at Arrington, VA's Interlocken Music Festival. Since last check, another 17 shows have been added to the schedule, beginning with an Oct. 1 performance in Cannondale, IL, and extending through New Year's Eve.
Widespread Panic is also slated to helm "Panic en la Playa" March 17-21 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. That event is already sold out.
Widespread Panic took on their first-ever all-acoustic tour in late 2011 and early 2012, after which the group took a break. Their most recent studio album, "Dirty Side Down," hit retailers in May 2011 via their own Widespread Records, though a new live effort, "Oak Mountain 2001 - Night 1," surfaced this May.
