Lady Antebellum headed back to the arena circuit
Lady Antebellum has unleashed the first leg of their extensive "Take Me Downtown" tour as they continue supporting their spring release, "Golden."
The harmony-driven country trio will begin the journey in the South with a Nov. 8 performance in Southaven, MS, but will quickly move into the West and Midwest for 16 arena shows. The first round of dates runs through a Dec. 14 show in Peoria, IL.
Tickets go on sale beginning Sept. 13. Kip Moore and Kasey Musgraves will kick off each night's performance with their own opening sets.
The seven-time Grammy-winning band unleashed "Golden," their fourth studio effort, in May. The Capitol Nashville release topped The Billboard 200, as well as the magazine's Top Country Albums chart.
"We spent almost every day last year backstage writing for our album 'Golden,' so we were really focused on writing songs that would connect with the fans in these arenas," singer Charles Kelley explained in a press release. "We definitely learned a lot about ourselves as live performers and the type of catalog we wanted to have so that we could go out and try to give the fans the best show they've ever experienced."
