Furthur fills out summer and fall tour schedule
Phil Lesh and Bob Weir's Furthur have a handful of major market performances mapped out through the fall.
The rock outfit, helmed by the former Grateful Dead pair, focuses on the eastern U.S. this month, continuing the in-progress summer portion with a July 16 show in Gilford, NH. The band will take a break in August and return to the road again for appearances at the Interlocken Music Festival Sept. 6-8 in Arrington, VA. The 10-city trek finishes up with three consecutive nights Oct. 4-6 at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre.
This itinerary marks the return of the band since Weir's late April collapse during a Port Chester, NY, performance.
Joining Lesh and Weir on the road are guitarist John Kadlecik, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and drummer Joe Russo, as well as backing vocalists Sunshine Becker and Jeff Pehrson.
