Natalie Cole supports her chart-topping Spanish album debut
Grammy-winning songstress Natalie Cole has planned a sporadic U.S. tour that will mix tributes, hits and music from her latest release, "Natalie Cole en Espanol."
The R&B performer will first complete a trio of European dates later this week and take a couple weeks off before kicking off the domestic leg with an Aug. 1 performance in Bethesda, MD. The 16-city trek crisscrosses the nation over four months, finishing up Dec. 21 in Portland, OR.
Cole unveiled her first Spanish language album, "Natalie Cole en Espanol," last month. The collection, which serves as a tribute to her father's (Nat King Cole) Spanish recordings, topped Billboard's Top Latin Albums upon its release.
Natalie Cole's most recent studio set, "Still Unforgettable," surfaced in 2008 and won a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
