Pearl Jam unleashes fall run across North America
Seattle rockers Pearl Jam will spend the fall working their way across North America on a two-leg trek.
The iconic band, helmed by Eddie Vedder, will first complete a couple of one-off dates later this month and take a break before beginning the first round of shows Oct. 11 in Pittsburgh, PA. That arena outing features nine stops before finishing up the first weekend of November with an appearance at the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans.
The fall trek's second portion kicks off two weeks later, starting out Nov. 15 in Dallas and pushing through 10 more cities. That leg, which focuses on the western half of the continent, concludes Dec. 6 in Seattle.
Tickets for the fall excursion go on sale July 27, according to a press release.
Pearl Jam most recently released "Backspacer," the group's ninth studio effort, in 2009. That collection, which came more than 18 years after the multi-platinum debut, "Ten," landed at the top of The Billboard 200. The effort even earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album.
