Jack Johnson, Kacey Musgraves, others added to 28th annual Farm Aid lineup
Jack Johnson, Kacey Musgraves, Amos Lee and Bahamas are among the latest additions to this fall's Farm Aid in New York.
Farm Aid mainstays Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews -- all an the organization's board of directors -- will also perform at the iconic benefit concert, which takes place Sept. 21 in Saratoga Springs, NY.
The 28th annual fundraising event will also feature performances by Toad the Wet Sprocket, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, JD & The Straight Shot, Regi Young & The Survivors and Carlene Carter.
Public onsales begin tomorrow (6/28), with ticket prices ranging from $45 to $150.
Farm Aid began in 1985, with the intention of raising awareness about the loss of family farms and to raise money so farming families can keep their land. Farm Aid has raised more than $43 million to date, according to its website.
The annual music extravaganza changes locations nearly every year. Last year's event took place in Hershey, PA, and featured sets by the board members, as well as Jack Johnson, Kenny Chesney, Jamey Johnson, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals and ALO, among others.
