Chris Brown takes "F.A.M.E." across continent

Chris Brown will take some time out of his busy songwriting and acting schedule to hit the road next month for a North American tour behind his March release, "F.A.M.E."
The R&B/hip-hop artist will begin the journey with a Sept. 12 performance in Toronto, followed by 27 amphitheater and arena shows. The trek, which will also feature T-Pain, Kelly Rowland and Tyga, wraps up Oct. 30 in Hartford, CT.
"This tour will allow me to paint a picture musically," Brown said in a press release. "I want to bring a lot of energy and excitement to all the fans."
"F.A.M.E.," Brown's fourth studio effort, surfaced in March via Jive Records. The 13-track set, which debuted at the top of The Billboard 200, features special appearances by Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris and Justin Bieber. Three hit singles -- "Look At Me Now," "Deuces" and "No BS" -- can be found on the spring release.
Brown has earned two nominations at this year's MTV Video Music Awards -- Best Collaboration and Best Hip Hop Video, both for the single "Look At Me Now." Fans can vote now via the event's website; the awards ceremony will be broadcast live Aug. 28.
Brown is currently writing songs for both Justin Bieber and Brandy, according to a press release. The entertainer will also begin filming the romantic comedy "Think Like a Man" in Los Angeles later this month.
