Kings of Leon to reveal "Mechanical Bull" this fall
After a handful of recent festival appearances across the U.S., Kings of Leon have announced the late September release of a brand-new album entitled "Mechanical Bull."
The Southern rockers will unveil their sixth studio effort and first since 2010's "Come Around Sundown" Sept. 24 via RCA Records. The family outfit recorded the album at their own Nashville studio with producer Angelo Petraglia.
Jimmy Fallon announced the impending release Monday (6/10) via a YouTube video.
On Saturday (6/8), the band performed the album's lead single, "Supersoaker," during their rescheduled set at New York City's Governor's Ball Festival.
Kings of Leon are preparing to embark on a European tour that gets underway Wednesday (6/12) in London, followed by another 19 stops.
