Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson hit the road together
The pair of hard rockers kicked off the summer trek last Saturday (6/1) in Albuquerque, NM, and will take to the stage again Thursday (6/6) in Universal City, CA. The 15-city outing concludes June 29 in Mount Pleasant, MI, after which both performers will take off on their own excursions.
The "Masters of Madness" performances include theatrical elements, such as knives, demented nurses, electrocutions, demented nurses and elaborate costumes, according to Cooper's website.
In April 2012, Cooper dropped "No More Mr. Nice Guy: Live," a live set recorded at London's Alexandra Place in late 2011.
Manson unveiled "Born Villain," his eighth full-length studio effort, in May 2012. That collection, which surfaced in his own Hell, etc. label, peaked at No. 10 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Independent and Hard Rock Albums charts.
