The Black Keys plan a handful of summer shows
Ohio rock duo The Black Keys will tackle a combination of North American festival gigs and theater shows this summer.
The pair begin the nine-day trek with a July 4 appearance at RBC Bluesfest in Ottawa, Ontario, followed by two more Canadian stops in Quebec. The U.S. portion gets underway July 8 in Buffalo, NY, and extends through a July 13 concert in Louisville, KY.
The Black Keys most recently released their seventh studio effort, "El Camino," in December 2011. The platinum-selling album, which followed 2010's "Brothers," peaked at No. 2 on The Billboard 200.
"El Camino" took home a 2013 Grammy for Best Rock Album, and the track "Lonely Boy" earned trophies for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song.
