The final day of Lollapalooza 2011 was somewhat of a "mud-apalooza," with Chicago's skies opening up and dumping rain on and off throughout Sunday's (8/7) festivities in Grant Park. Nonetheless, fans came to have fun, so the weather apparently did little to dampen the crowd's collective mood.
The final day's lineup included Foo Fighters, Deadmau5, Arctic Monkeys, The Cars, Explosions in the Sky, The Pain of Being Pure at Heart, Cage the Elephant, Imelda May, The Joy Formidible, Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses, and more.
SoundSpike photographer Tim Mosenfelder braved the wet weather, managing to keep his cameras dry to get some highlights. Here is some of what he saw.
