Jay-Z and West revealed plans for the joint collection earlier this year, releasing the effort's lead single, "H.A.M.," in January. "Otis," the second single, surfaced last week (7/20) and features a sample of legendary soul singer Otis Redding's 1966 version of "Try a Little Tenderness."

Update: Kanye and Jay-Z's 'The Throne' tour gets revamped: Ticket sales delayed

"We first heard about the song in early July, end of June," Redding's daughter, Karla Redding-Andrews, explained in a recent interview with Billboard. "It's not until it comes time to pull together a project and they know what songs are going to be on the album that they look to get all the clearances before the song leaks. They brought it to us first and we really appreciate that respect."

"Watch the Throne" will be available via iTunes Aug. 8.
