Grunge-rock pioneers Soundgarden are a few weeks into their month-long Reunion Tour, which is the band's first outing since 1997.
The band -- Chris Cornell (vocals, guitar), Kim Thayil (guitar), Matt Cameron (drums) and Ben Shepherd (bass) -- is in California for the next few days. Tonight (7/21) they will be at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, and tomorrow (7/22) the tour arrives at the The Forum in Inglewood. Most dates feature either The Mars Volta or Coheed and Cambria as the supporting act. The tour wraps up July 30 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA, with Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon and Meat Puppets supporting. Fans will have one more chance to catch Soundgarden this year; the guys are headlining the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans over the Halloween weekend.
