X to revisit "The Unheard Music" and "Los Angeles" this fall

X will embark on a tour this fall that looks back at their debut album and "The Unheard Music," a band documentary released 26 years ago.
During the upcoming shows, which get underway Sept. 24 in Philadelphia, the Los Angeles punk icons will play their first album, "Los Angeles," in its entirety, as well as other favorites. "Los Angeles" was released in 1980 and consistently is ranked by critics among rock's greatest albums.
The upcoming dates also will feature screenings of "X: The Unheard Music," a 1986 rockumentary covering the rise of X filmed over the course of five years by director W.T. Morgan.
X's lineup for the upcoming tour consists of its original members: singer Exene Cervenka, singer/bassist John Doe, guitarist Billy Zoom and drummer D.J. Bonebrake.
