Wiz Khalifa rolls out another tour supporting "Papers"
East Coast rapper Wiz Khalifa will embark on a North American run dubbed the "Rolling Papers" Tour, as he continues to promote his recently released album of the same name.
The 40-city excursion gets started June 11 with an appearance at the 10th annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN, followed by shows scattered throughout the nation. The full schedule, which wraps up Aug. 5 in Pontiac, MI, and includes a European leg, is detailed at right.
This new round of U.S. shows, which follows up Khalifa's sold-out "Campus Consciousness Green Carpet Tour," will feature special guests Big Sean, Chevy Woods and DJ Bonics. target="new">website.
Khalifa unveiled his studio debut, "Rolling Papers," in late March. The Atlantic Records release peaked at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on the magazine's R&B/Hip Hop Albums and Rap Albums charts.
Khalifa's in the running for Best New Artist at this year's BET Awards, which airs June 26 on the television network.
