Garth Brooks tacks more dates onto Vegas residency
Garth Brooks has added more dates to his occasional weekend residency at Las Vegas' Wynn Resort that now continues into the fall.
Along with three previously announced weekends spanning June and July, the itinerary now includes Aug. 19-20, as well as two weekends each in September (9/9-9/10; 9/23-9/24) and October (10/7-10/8; 10/21-10/22). All dates are listed at right.
Shows take place at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. each night. Tickets for the newly added concerts go on sale Saturday (5/21) via Ticketmaster and are priced at $225 plus service charge and tax, for a grand total of $253.
In late 2009, Brooks inked a long-term deal with billionaire resort tycoon Steve Wynn to perform 16 weekends per year at the Wynn resort's Encore Stage. Earlier this year, Brooks eliminated his Sunday performances, adding second shows on Fridays and Saturdays instead.
