Phish adds a summer finale in Colorado
Phish will play the last three dates of its summer tour over Labor Day weekend at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO.
The Sept. 2-4 concerts wrap up the band's previously announced tour, which kicks-off May 27 with a three night run at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, located at the site of the original Woodstock concert in Bethel, NY.
The band's summer outing includes several two-night stops throughout June, including a duo of shows at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, and Verizon Wireless @ Encore Park near Atlanta.
Phish also will play a June 8 show at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Center, NY; concert tickets include free admission to Darien Lake Theme Park on the day of the show, according to a press release.
The centerpiece of Phish's summer tour takes place July 1-3 with a camping festival dubbed Super Ball IX. The event takes place at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, NY; and marks Phish's ninth festival. It's the band's first festival to be held over Fourth of July weekend.
Phish will hit the West Coast in August with two shows (8/5-6) at The Gorge in George, WA. Phans in California can catch the band at its first ever Hollywood Bowl concert Aug. 8, and in San Francisco Aug. 12 at the Outside Lands Music Festival.
An onlineticket request period is underway for the Dick's Sporting Goods Park shows; the request period will conclude May 23 at noon ET. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning June 4 via Ticket Horse.

As with last summer's Phish tour, each ticket purchased will include a MP3 download of a fully mixed soundboard recording of the entire show; the recordings can be redeemed at LivePhish.com shortly after the band's set concludes.
