Rage Against the Machine, Muse lead L.A. Rising

Rage Against the Machine and Muse will head up a July 30 event at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum dubbed L.A. Rising.
Filling out the day-long event's lineup will be full sets from Chicago punk rockers Rise Against, along with Lauryn Hill, Immortal Techniques and El Gran Silencio.
Rage has played just one hometown gig in Los Angeles since the band split -- a July 2010 benefit for the Sound Strike, a group working to quash Arizona's controversial anti-immigration law. The band also reunited for the 2007 Coachella festival in Indio, CA. Goldenvoice, the promoter behind Coachella, is also promoting the L.A. Rising event.
Tickets go on sale Friday (5/13) at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. Tickets are listed at $69 and $99, plus fees.
Members of L.A. radio station KROQ's Street Team will have the first crack at tickets during a Thursday (5/12) presale; details are posted at the station's website.
