Grammy-winning R&B artist R. Kelly has added a U.S. leg to the world tour behind his recently released album, "Love Letter."

After wrapping up an in-progress European trek later this month, the Chicago native will return to the States for the June 2 kick-off in Southaven, MS. The road trip crisscrosses the nation, stopping by arenas in 18 cities along the way. The full itinerary, which wraps up July 3 in Philadelphia, is detailed at right.

Keyshia Cole and Marsha Ambrosius will handle opening duties on the summertime excursion.

"Love Letter," R. Kelly's 11th studio effort, surfaced in December, debuting at No. 6 on The Billboard 200. The artist wrote, produced and arranged the Jive Records release, which so far holds two hit singles: "When a Woman Loves" and the title track.

The set, which follows up 2009's "Untitled," pays homage to several soul artists, such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, according to a press release.
