In Pictures: Black Veil Brides in San Francisco

Los Angeles glam-metal/goth band Black Veil Brides has been building a following since 2006. By the time they signed a record deal with Standby Records in 2009, Andy Six (lead vocals), Ashley Purdy (bass, vocals), Jake Pitts (lead guitar), Jinxx (guitar, violin) and Christian Coma (drums) hit the ground running. When their debut set, "We Stitch These Wounds," was released last summer, it promptly sold a reported 20,000-plus units in the first week.

It's not hard to guess that they have been influenced by the stage costumes of bands like KISS, as the guys are inclined to wear heavy make-up and big hair. Currently, the members of BVB are making their way around North America as part of the AP Tour, alongside VersaEmerge, I See Stars, Conditions and D.R.U.G.S. Tonight (3/30), the tour arrives at the El Corazon in Seattle, and The Complex in Salt Lake City will play host Friday (4/1).

SoundSpike photographer Raymond Ahner was among the guests who attended their concert at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on Sunday (3/27), and here are some of his best shots.
