Austin, TX's South by Southwest Music Conference was arguably the best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this Thursday (3/17). The streets were peppered with music lovers dressed up in green clothing and bent on discovering the music equivalent of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Artists filling out yesterday's SXSW showcase featured such names as The Strokes, TV on the Radio, Andrew Belle, Abigail Washburn, The Head and the Heart, The Bangles, B.o.B., Emmylou Harris, David Wax Museum, and Roky Erickson, who performed with ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, just to name a few.
