In Pictures: Joshua Radin in Seattle

Folk singer/songerwriter Joshua Radin tried on many hats before finding a comfortable fit as a musician. After moving to New York City from his native Ohio, he taught himself to play guitar and and write songs. Radin's big break came in 2004, when an old college friend -- who happened to be Zach Braff, the star of the TV series "Scrubs" -- helped to get exposure for some of his songs on the show's soundtrack.

Since then, Radin's music has been featured on such shows are "American Idol," "Bones," "Army Wives," "Grey's Anatomy," "Gossip Girl" and "One Tree Hill," to name just a few. Last fall, Radin celebrated the release of his third studio album "The Rock and the Tide," fittingly, on TV -- this time by way of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

SoundSpike photographer Elisa Sherman was on hand to photograph Radin at his concert Wednesday night (3/9) at the Showbox Market in Seattle, and here are some of her best shots.
