The Noise Pop Festival, San Francisco's indie music, arts and film festival is now in its 19th year. The event traditionally takes place over a week in February, showcasing emerging artists in venues all around the Bay Area.
Death Cab for Cutie, White Stripes, Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes, The Flaming Lips, The Donnas, Jeff Tweedy and Silversun Pickups are just a few of the names who have stopped by Noise Fest on their way to bigger things. This year's festivities kicked off last Tuesday (2/22) and wrapped up last night (2/27). The lineup featured such artists as Dan Deacon, Yo La Tengo, Ben Gibbard, Wavves, The Stone Foxes, Best Coast, Zach Rogue, Voxhaul Broadcast, Butterfly Bones and Geographer, to name a few.
SoundSpike photographers Tim Mosenfelder and Raymond Ahner were on hand throughout the week to capture some of the action, and here are some highlights.
