Welcome to Rockville fest leads off with Godsmack, Seether

Godsmack and Seether are among the acts performing May 8 at a new rock festival in downtown Jacksonville, FL. The first annual Welcome To Rockville fest will feature more than 20 bands on three stages at Metropolitan Park, located along the St. Johns River, according to a press release.

Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Puddle of Mudd, Skillet, Halestorm, Rev Theory and My Darkest Days also will be on the bill for the debut event.

Tickets for the festival go on sale to the general public March 4. A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available March 1.
