Sarah McLachlan & Friends continue expanding North American venture
Sarah McLachlan has tacked a few more dates onto her "Sarah and Friends" run, which kicked off earlier this month and stretches through March.
Since last check, the Canadian singer/songwriter has confirmed another five stops in the Midwest, including shows in Minneapolis (3/9), Chicago (3/12) and East Lansing, MI (3/14). The just-launched-tour, which plays the second of two nights in New York City tonight (1/13), is currently slated to conclude March 26 in Oshawa, Ontario. The full itinerary is listed at right.
After keeping a low profile for many years, McLachlan released a new album titled "Laws of Illusion" last summer. Each stop on the tour includes material from the new album -- the songstress' first studio set in seven years -- as well as classic hits. A Q&A with the audience is also part of the schedule, according to a press release.
McLachlan's friends and bandmates, Butterfly Boucher and Melissa McClelland, will each perform their own short sets.
