Garth Brooks phases out Sunday shows in Vegas
Garth Brooks has announced a new batch of shows at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort, but the country superstar has made some changes this time around.
Up until now, Brooks' up-close-and-personal shows were weekend runs including 8 p.m. shows Friday through Sunday, as well as a second show at 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays. But beginning with his just-announced March schedule, Brooks has added second shows on Fridays, and eliminated his Sunday performances.
Brooks' newly announced shows are March 25-26, April 8-9, June 3-4 and 24-24, and July 22-23. Shows take place at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. each night. Tickets go on sale Saturday (1/15), and are priced at $225 plus service charge and tax, for a grand total of $253.
In late 2009, Brooks inked a long-term deal with billionaire resort tycoon Steve Wynn to perform 16 weekends per year at the Wynn resort's Encore Stage.
