Dispatch returns to the touring circuit in June

Dispatch, a premier New England jam band that got its start in the mid-1990s, has announced six shows for their first summer tour in more than a decade. The group is also starting to work on their first studio album since 2000's "Who Are We Living For?"
The band, which has been inactive since playing three shows in 2007 at New York's Madison Square Garden, opens the tour June 4 at the Denver area's Red Rocks Amphitheatre and wraps up the trek with a homecoming show at Boston's TD Garden. Tickets for the Dispatch shows have a single price: $40 apiece.
Prior to the tour, Dispatch is offering free downloads of their studio album catalog to fans who friend the group on Facebook, follow them on Twitter and send five friends an email about the tour.
The band will donate 50 cents from each ticket sold to benefit education programs in each local market. They will also plan additional programs to spotlight education in every market they visit.
