In Pictures: Billy Idol in San Francisco

Veteran rocker Billy Idol is doing anything but laying low these days -- in fact, the U.K. native has been touring the globe since early June, when he kicked things off in Moscow.

Idol and his band -- Steve Stevens (lead guitar), Stephen McGrath (bass), Derek Sherinian (keyboards), Billy Morrison (rhythm guitar) and Jeremy Colson (drums) -- landed stateside in August and have crisscrossed the continent since. The 2010 tour also included a set at Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit in October, where they shared the bill with Pearl Jam, Elvis Costello, Modest Mouse, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, Jackson Browne and Buffalo Springfield.

Idol's tour finale was slated for Monday (12/20) at The Fillmore in San Francisco, but due to overwhelming demand, a second show was added at the venue for Tuesday (12/21). SoundSpike photographer Tim Mosenfelder was at The Fillmore for Monday's show and here are some of his best shots.
