In Pictures: Garth Brooks in Nashville, TN
Although the phrase "less is more" applies to many things, it's not a good fit when it comes to raising funds for a good cause. So, after Garth Brooks' one-off concert to benefit flood victims in Nashville sold out in record time early last month, he quickly extended it to a nine-show run.
The eight additional shows sold out in short order as well, and ticket receipts alone for the nine shows raked in more than $3.5 million for the Community Foundation Tennessee Flood Relief. Brooks kicked off the his run of benefit shows last night (12/16) at Bridgestone Arena, performing at the venue for the first time in more than a decade.
SoundSpike photographer Samantha Shrader was there to catch some of the action, and here are the highlights.
