Nicole Atkins spreads "Amore" this winter

Nicole Atkins, the big-voiced, rootsy pop singer from New Jersey, will tour North America in February and March after the release of her first album for Razor & Tie, "Mondo Amore."
The tour begins Feb. 9 in New York City and ends March 10 in Philadelphia. Her trio the Black Sea will back her while the duo Cotton Jones will open the shows. Razor & Tie will release "Mondo Amore" on Jan. 25.
The label has already released "Vultures" as a single. Atkins' previous album, titled "Neptune City" for her hometown, was released in 2007.
