Summary: Best Iron Ever!!!
Comment: I've owned several Rowenta Irons over the years. Each time the Rowenta iron would leak water during ironing I wound buy a more expensive one...since Rowenta is rated as one of the top brands. I stayed with the line until the last one started leaking within months of purchase, spitting rust colored water all over my white T-shirt. I read several positive reviews about the digital Black & Decker iron, so I bought it. I LOVE this iron...no leaking & it irons so well! I would recommend this iron highly & it's half the price of my previous Rowenta's.

Summary: I LOVE TO IRON NOW!!!!
Comment: I researched steam irons on Consumer Reports. This model was recommended and had very high ratings in performance. I love this iron. CR only comment was the lid that closes the water well is very weak and breaks often. I have been very careful when opening this lid and so far it's okay. It is expensive but well worth the price. The steam feature is excellent. I love the see thru water well. It signals when the correct temperature is obtained. It does not leak like other irons I have used. I have one negative comment regarding the auto off. Yes, it does shut off automatically after 10 minutes but the indicator light does not go off until you unplug it. This is annoying since my previous iron had auto off and I never unplugged it.

Summary: Fabulous Iron
Comment: I purchased this iron for my wife who has been ironing my clothes for more than 40 years. She tells me that it a fabulous iron, the best she has owned. She wants a lot of steam out of an iron so she doesn't have to keep going back and forth over the same area of the garment she is ironing. She says this one has it. I tell her it should, since it has 1500 watts of power. She also tell me she likes the digital controls and the upright steam. I don't know what upright steam is, but she likes it. We both like the fact that it has an automatic shutoff. This is especially important when you get to be our age. She says it is a little heavy, but that is a small price to pay for a product this good. She says she wouldn't give it up for any other iron. I am thankful for that, since I would like my clothes to look pressed for another 40 years.

Comment: This is the best iron I ever owned. If you thinking about buying this iron get it. All you have to do is look at the tag in your clothing, set the iron, wait for the beep, and iron. Great steam, on leaks, and it tells you when it needs to be cleaned.I hope they never stopping making this one. It's GREAT!

Summary: Excellent value & awesome performance for the money
Comment: My old iron was useless. I would iron clothes, they would look ironed and I'd hang them up. I would come back a few hours later and they are all wrinkled looking again. I hated ironing!
I finally bit the bullet and looked for a new iron. The D2030 had a TON of positive reviews on Amazon and other sites so I figured for the money, it was worth giving a whirl.
All I can say is, "WOW!" It worked so well that I could not find enough clothes to iron and I actually did not dread ironing anymore.
There are newer (and more expensive) models by B&D and other manufacturers out there, but I'd go with this one. You won't be disappointed.
