Summary: Good, but this is NOT for chalkboards
Comment: I bought this to use with my daughter's chalkboard, but it is only for use with paper. For paper it's a nice alternative to crayons, producing something between a crayon and an oil pastel (without the messiness of an oil pastel, something we parents of 2 year olds worry about). Just be aware that if you use it on a chalkboard, it will not erase. You'll need to scrub to remove it: I was able to get it off with Formula 409 and a good rubbing.
