Red Hot Chili Peppers add second Anchorage date after quick sell-out
Red Hot Chili Peppers have added a second show to their early-August stop in Anchorage, AK, which sold out in less than three hours.
The iconic funk-rock outfit will first tackle appearances June 8 at Detroit's Orion Music + More and June 21 at Dover, DE's Firefly Music Festival. The Anchorage dates are slated for Aug. 5-6 and are followed by an Aug. 11 gig at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco.
Tickets for the newly-added Aug. 6 show will go on sale May 31 via Ticketmaster.
Red Hot Chili Peppers most recently unveiled "I'm With You," their 10th studio effort. The Warner Bros. Records release, produced by Rick Rubin, surfaced in August 2011 and peaked at No. 2 on The Billboard 200.
